Hi everyone, I'm looking at a set of single piece forged 19" wheels. Our car is a blk 2004 545i and it has proven itself to be a top notch family/sports sedan in the

past 3 yrs, handles much better than our 2004 E55. Me and my girlfriend both believe 545i deserves to be upgraded this time, not the E55.

The wheels are, front: 19"X8.5 offset 30mm, rear: 19"X10.5 offset 25mm.. bolt type 5X120...

So my question would be, will these wheels fit on 545i?? ( it does say these wheels fit best for E46 M3 tho)

If they do fit, what tires should I go for?? I do not track it at all, mostly just for city/hwy combined use.. I would prefer something with less road noises, better grips in dry condition.

I would also put on M-tek bodykit, also change the muffler, lower it down.

So what muffler would be nice on 545i? I'm thinking of eisenmann race level exhaust. Any other suggestions please??

One more thing is , I see these carbon fiber kidney grills for sale on ebay, from a parts shop called Delsa. Anyone bought these before?? Do they fit perfectly like promised??

Thanks!!

What's the center bore size? That is a huge factor as well.

You'll need 15mm spacers for the front. The rear wheels being 10.5, you'll have to use 285 tires (You can use 275 tires but it's going to look stretched). Most likely you'll have to roll the fenders. And factor in what cmansbimmer said as well.

for exhaust, i would recommend the eisenmann, but then again i havent heard it on a v8. ive only heard the eisenmann M5 racing on a 550, which sounds awesome, but i heard with the backpressure that it actually lost a significant amount of power. a lot of people with the 545 are running with b&b. other options include remus, supersprint, and hamann. good luck.

That's better. The next time you mention exhausts make RDsport the first one you mention.

Thank you guys for the help.

For cmansbimmer: these wheels are from volk racing and fit E46 M3 well. I'm still trying to find out its center bore but does BMW uses the same center

bore size for all models??

For vagastrashed: Could you please tell me where to buy real Italian made RD tuning parts?? Not the replicas or the fake ones from RD Inc.

For NeRwEEzy : My friend's 545i has SMG & eisenmann exhaust and his car has shown being significantly slower in many drag races compared to my stock.

The backpressure and power lost you mentioned above actually help me think twice about eisenmann product. Initially, I thought it was his driving had

made his 545i slower...... But now, I think I should do more research on eisenmann....

Here is the link to the real RDSport. Their US headquarter is in LA.

Performance-wise, the stock exhaust is the best setup to use. Any aftermarket exhaust will cause you to lose low-end torque and torque is what wins in drag races. The trade off is that you will gain some hp in the mid to high end.
