My car has the M5 Tech front replica from Trinity. Its been fantastic. However, I would like to remove my fog lights and the plastic mesh grills inside that brake vent. My question is whether or not there is any difference between the one that comes with fog light option vs. the one without besides the fact that it doesn't have the inserts and mounting bracket on the back?

In other words, if I remove these things from the car, will it look just like the bumper without fogs that comes from the vendor? I just want one black mesh grill in the front mouth, and 2 sexy black slits on each side just like on an M5.

How's the fit on the M-tec style bumper?
And did you retain the headlight washer function?

Fit was damn near perfect and the headlight washer option works perfectly also.

I just got a call from Nerwyll (great service) and he told me that this bumper has a very small 1/2" or 1" extension that protrudes behind the brake vent to screw in the mesh that holds the fog light. If I want I can remove the fog light, buy cancellers to not get an error message in iDrive, or I can just live with the error message like he does. Also, the shop can just cut off the piece (that holds the fog in after removing the mesh grill on each side) and it would look like a black brake vent just like the M5 OEM one does.
