My Ride: '04 545i - fully loaded, everything but Navi
Default

From the BMWUSA website, the proper wheel sizes in 124s are:

Front Wheel, 8" x 18" (PN: 36 11 6 775 645)
Rear Wheel, 9" x 18" (PN: 36 11 6 775 646)

I was looking through Ebay and the sort, have found some people selling wheels, but the lots of 4 are listed as all being 8"x18"
Would this be a bad thing to put on my '04 545i? You figure recommended sizes are there for a reason, but in this case, is there any wiggle room?

You always could run 245/40s all the way around on four 8"s. Most, like me, run 275/35 on the 9" rears. You might want to double check with sellers to confirm that they are indeed all four 8". It just seems odd, since my understanding is most sets, like the one I bought, are staggered as you indicate. The seller may have just looked at one and assumed all were the same? 2 cents. GL.
