Hey guys, this is my first post here and I'll be the first to admit I don't know much about cars. I recently got a 09' 535i with the sports package. My question is should i get the sprint booster if I already have the sports button. I know when I turn on sports mode, the pickup is already pretty fast. Im curious on whether getting the sprint booster with the sports button turned on will make the car respond even faster. Thank you for any and all input.

Absolutely. I just put mine on last night, so I don't have much experience with it yet. I can say that it increases responsiveness in both sport or normal modes. IMHO, the cars should come equipped with the SB from the factory. I'm a late adopter, but completely converted.

I think the OP has the Sport Auto Transmission with the Sport button, which remaps the throttle response (amongst other things) when pressed. I believe the SB is programmed to remap the regular throttle map, so the question is what would be it's effect on the already remapped Sport mode throttle response. It may become undriveable in normal highway conditions.

I have the same question as OP as well. I have retrofitted the SAT shifter in my LCI recently. When I switch to DS and turn on the SPORT button, the car's response is really fantastic (as least to me!). I'm wondering will adding SB or Velocity or Pivot 3 improves the response further. Anyone knows?
