Question about BMW key

My Ride: 2006 530xi (Titanium Grey/ Black interior) Debaged, L.e.d. light upgrade throughout. ACS roof spoiler. H&R sport sprigs, Angel eye upgrade, euro sticker, ,matte black grills.
I have a 2006 with the push button start. I need an extra key and wanted to know if you can use a pre-used key fob from another car, with reprograming ofcourse. Just Want to know what is the procedure or should I just buy a new one.

My research, personal experience, and talking to BMW SA's will tell you to get a new one. Actually, it doesn't necessary have to be new (for the chip part), as long as it's blank.
