Quads - loss of power? Why?

Thanks a lot for your comments guys. I see main points were made here.
Anyway, I will try to go for the setup this lud offers me. I just hope not to lose any power with a nicely looking quads and a great sound. So far, from your comments and theory his setup looks promising.

you could always just put some fake exhaust tips on the other side, just for the looks. 
you mostly use the low end of the power range, so i think it'd be a bad move to alter your exhaust and lose the torque.
