quad exhaust recommendation

I would recommend RPI, except they don't make a quad exhaust for any E60 other than the M5. Remus is a option for the quad, but honestly you can custom make a quad for the 530 for less. My old 530 had a custom quad exhaust that was about $600. The Remus for the 530 is ~$900

Really all you need is Magnaflow mufflers and the tips of your choice. I don't remember the part #'s but someone will chime in. The shop you take it to can bend and weld the pipes you'll need for the system. Just remember, the stock 530 exhaust is 2.5 inches diameter, to not lose significant HP try to get the shop to use 2.25 inch piping to maintain proper back pressure. Other than that you should be good. You can add things like an X-pipe if you want as well.

As someone who had magnaflow custom setup, I'd say just pay the money for remus. Its a quality system. I'm switching to a RD sport quad right now but they are hard to find.

I already have the RPI exhaust (love it), but as I recall they had some pretty decent and reasonably priced - comparred to SC kits, power pkgs for the 530. I wanted to take a look and see what they offered power wise for my 550 as opposed to the $9k ESS SC kit.
