Hi guys!
Do you like ?
A little part of the pics of the job I have done :

2 full days of work, from 8 AM to 8 PM with only 10 minutes for lunch, for make my 545i prototype exhaust
...
Stock exhaust :
Finally, my 545i quad :
Important : only exhaust for now; catalysts next time I will go there .
With this exhaust I have gained about 0.3s on the 0-100 .

Before the mod :

(pay attention : calculate at least another 0.1s, because this video is long of 6.5s, but the video starts from 10 kmh, bad cutted when I cut it)
With new exhaust :
0_100_drive_6.2.mov
(about 6.2 in Drive mode, WITHOUT Acceleration Assist)
0.3s also beetwen 80 and 130 kmh .
On saturday or sunday I will try to make a clip of 100-200 kmh to see the gain on 0-200, adding to 0.3s on the 0-100 .
These men in their firm make only exhaust for supercars (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche) but the man who maked me the remap was friend of they and he called them for me .
Can't wait to make also the kat and headers and a new map to adjust the map for all new mods :-))) .

They have commerce with US for Ferrari parts and they can ship parts for 545i/550i everywhere (only I would come back there, unmount my exhaust for "copying" it and reproduce) .
Hope do you like the job and my quad 545i .
Important note : in that pic the exhaust and the car were COLD ... When it is hot they come out another 2-3 cm, for thermal expansion . But in real life the rear is nicer, in the pic it doesn't appear like in RL .
Sound : more aggressive, sportier, a little stronger and darker . Like a V8 should be .
And I feel more free the exhaust .
And it seems lighter, because the new exhaust is lighter and because the engine could send better gases away .
If I want more sound they can take these cylindrical silencers away :
Opinions ?

I love these oval pipes : they fit them on Lamborghini Gallardo, if I have well understood .

Incredible :
From real 100 kmh (102 kmh on speedometer - measured with the 'V EFF' secret men? of the board computer) to real 200 kmh (205-206 kmh) : gained something like 0.5s .
Before, with old exhaust :
100_200.mov
(about 14.4s)
With new exhaust :
100_200_reali_circa.mov
(about 13.9s)
But you have to count 2 things :
a) the 14.2 of BEFORE was in sequential gear mode ... It change gears to rev limiter, 6600 with map . The AFTER is in Drive mode : only 6400-6500 rpm and the change of gear is slower .
b) during 14.2 I was on trip, the car was hot ... This 13.9 I go from home in the city to the highway, 10 km ..
I have to remake the 100-200 when I will have the car hot (for performance is important that the gear be hot) and in sequential mode .
Conclusion : adding 0.3s gained on 0-100 to (at least) 0.5s on the 100-200 ... It results 1s on 0-200 .
When the sun will come back I will try a 0-100 with acceleration assist (a sort of "launch control") .
A little note : my 5 has only 20k km, she have to gain something more with the next 20k km .

Lamborghini fab is already here and a lot of engineers etc. are the same of before .
But the 4WD is by Audi, yes
.And also the navigation sistem of the gallardo
.We lost Lamborghini but we gain Pagani* .

The father of the wife of the owner of the firm x-ost that me the exhaust is a dear friend of Horacio Pagani and he have worked 30 yrs in Argentina with him ... He promised me that when I will come back there to do kat he will bring me to visit the fab : he said Ferrari/maserati fab are like Fiat, VW, BMW, etc. . Instead in Pagani is all home made .
I hope to try a Zonda S, huhu!
