Quad exhasut options with no m-tech kit
Hey all,
I was wondering what options I have for quad exhaust with reagrds to the rear valence fitting the extra 2 tips since the stock bumper only has the spot for 2, since I don't have the m-tech kit, what are my options with the lower part of the rear bumper valence, is there a diffuser addition I can get or like a body kit type thing. I know it is a lot easier to do with the m-tech kit because you can replace the lower valence.
Any pics of e60's with quads that don't have the m-tech kit, please post.
Thanks
Sam

My Ride: 530iA Silver Grey , black interior. Premium Package, Navigation System, Head-up Display, Radio Satellite, Adaptive Xenon Headlights. AC Schnitzer Front Lip, H&R springs, Rear red reflector, All season Floor mat,
Hamann has one. However you have to cut your OEM bumper to fit the diffuser.
I have it on my E60 but i will try to find the pics again for you.

RDSport makes a rear add-on lip for the rear bumper that will accommodate quad exhaust. Not sure if you need to modify the existing stock bumper like you have to with the Hamann that soc_fans is referring to. Here's the link to the RDSport one: http://65.36.231.74/Localized/NorthAmerica...NA_E60_Aero.htm
You can also try changing your rear to the M5 rear.

trunk spoiler is also available.
some pictures of my 550 with Hamann quad with 90 mm tips and Hamann diffuser & the diffuser just fits in to the M-Tech bumper without any cutting. you just replace the center pancel ..very simple..very easy..

Eventhough the OP's question was what quad exhaust without the M-tech rear, I always did like the Hamann diffuser.
I'm just the impatient and cheap type and instead went with the M5 rear to accommodate my quads.

Two reasons why I went with M5 rear bumper: 1. M5 Bumper, paint and install = Hamann diffuser, paint and install in price, 2. Would've had to wait weeks for it. I got the M5 rear bumper painted and installed in less than a week.
