Putting LED/Neon undercar lights on
#11
I think neons are a mod that splits everyone personal tastes, our perceived self will frown upon the idea, with the perception that it is naff/bad taste/cheap/nedy/chavy etc, while the boy/girl racer in all of us hankers for the guts to do it ourselves.
As the rest of the forum are saying, it's your cash. I say, do it and enjoy those quiet dark night cruising home where everyone will notice you and say NO!
But silently think ... yes!

Man, don't get sucked into the Chav generation! You've stepped up onto an elite level with the e60, never look back man! If you put neons under her, next you'll have em in the engine bay, then in the footwells, then strobes in the lights. Once you fall off the wagon, its a roller coaster to Chav-Ville!

Why not just mod your door handles to house courtesy lights? Or add some puddle lights to your mirrors, you can even make them multicoloured, it'll look good, just without the extreme embarassment...
Na, only messing man, if you want em, put em on, just be careful not to leave em on n get pulled!
