does the front wheel stick out at all?
no the wheel doesnt stick out at all. infact it is just tucked a tiny bit,, if i am not driving and i turn the wheels all the way in both directions it got clearance..no rubbing.. and the drivers side doesnt rub at all even when i do drive and turn hard.. its only on the ouside of the passenger front fender...

I'm on the same boat as you

I lowered my car (Eibach pro springs) less than a year ago and didn't change the shocks. I was running on 19's then so definitely no rubbing. I then recently upgraded to 20's and that's when the rubbing occured. I am betting that my shocks have gone bad and the 20's just magnified the problem. I rolled the fenders, but I still rub going through the bumps and dips (not while turning). In frustration I also thought about raising the fronts back to stock, but thought better of it. It's not a good idea to be mixing different springs, it's not advisable and will cause more problems.

So I'm presently in the market for some slightly used coilovers (KW V3 or Bilstein PSS10) so that I have the option of adjusting the height back up a little. I can't afford new ones at the moment with the holidays and all. I think this is the best option. If I can't find a good deal soon then I'll just get some Bilstein sport shocks from Trinity to compliment my Eibachs. It's really frustrating because I haven't driven the car for a while now because of the rubbing.

Anyway good luck and keep us posted...

Even if the shocks were blown it wouldnt affect the ride height... so it wouldnt rub....
you can most def put the stock sport springs back in the front if thats what you have..... my wheel guy told me its nots problem to put the reg springs on front and the others in the back.. its only the spring rate that is affected..
anyhow..i def agree its just soo anoying...
im gonna take the front springs off in the morinig and see whats going on up there..

There was a thread on someone asking about mixing springs, I would not do it. I have a feeling it will screw up the balance of the car.

Not sure if 245/30 tires would fix that either. Not sure why you're rubbing though...
