puddle lights on E60... is it nice?

I also considered doing a similar setup. The lights themselves are cheap but the install was expensive.

I was also going to have them turn on like puddle lamps - so only when opening and closing the doors or disarming the alarm.

I think it's a very cool addition to the car, especially if tied to the interior lights to fade on and off. We actually offer our Illumina Puddle Lamp Kit which are 5 LEDs per side that install under the side skirt to achieve this effect. Pulling it off right is all about perfect installation. The lights must be lined up correctly or it will look off.

is there any warranty on the life of the LEDS?

if so, I will pick up a set for sure especially the price you are offering it

I've seen it in person it looks good, its not like you are driving around with them on, its on when your pathway light is on..but to each his own, and I like it
