My Ride: no work done yet, just go the car a week ago but looking to do some work soon
Thumbs up

Just put in new angel eyes and hid fog lights into my 06 530... I go tthem from brabusw209amg great guys helped me with which lights to go with and the car looks sweet, love it.... However i got a error message saying check adoptive headlamps. Now my lightg dont move into the direction my steering wheel does so thats the problem... Did anyone have the same problem? I tried to reset the battery but problem was still there. Also my question is that i got the car a week ago and if i go to the dealer and tell them about the problem would they void my warranty due to the upgrade?? What should i do?

Word of advice put stockers back on take the trip to the dealer and dont mention the swap and see what story they tell you

yea everything is plugged in.... One question i used the stock cables that were connected to the angel eye light and not the one that came with the new ones would that cause the problem?

Just read about this: What kind of malfunction warning do you get ? , a flashing green LED on the lightswitch or a yellow headligt with arrows in the center of the cluster ?

If it is the LED on the lightswitch its likely the ALC box'es that need programing

And thats what i have a flashing green light....
So what should i do? Go to the dealer, will the warrenty cover it since i did the upgrade?

+1...I have the same model year....I installed mine with no problems at all. You may want to try reconnecting ALL the cables you removed, especially if you ended up removing the headlights. Should only be 3-4 max per side.
