Ok, so I've been reading a lot about upgrading the lights and have seen a few E46's in my town with new angel eyes, but I'm not sure where to begin. From what I've read, AngeliBrights are the best, but also the most expensive. Second up would be Predator Ice I guess??? Then there are the fog lights as well. Since much of this lighting language is new to me, just looking for a simple answer here...
What's the best bang for the buck and what would it cost to get new angel eyes and new fog lights? I just want to do the white lights, not the colored.

For angel eyes, get either the AngeliBrights or Predator Ice. I would probably go with Predator Ice because it's cheaper. There have been differing opinions about the brightness of AngeliBrights and Predator Ice but I think if there is any difference it's probably minimal and not noticeable. It's not like you'll have one on the right and one on the left to see the differences anyway. This is an unbiased opinion. I got AngeliBrights because they were the first on the market and I'm very happy with them.
As for fog lights I would recommend going with some PIAA 4150K or 4300K xenon-look bulbs if you're just looking to get the white/blue light effect. Those would run around $50-$70 a set depending on where you get them. Real xenon hid conversions will run around $280.

there is NO difference. the difference is color. ours is a pure white - 6000K - the other is more blue. That's the only difference. output is the same for now

No real traditional splice, just t-taps. It's really plug and play. Do not let your heart be troubled.
