I believe he's created a wiring kit that takes pre-lci halogens to lci halogens as he noted that one xenon headlamp costs as mush as he bought two new halogen lamps. Also, he's running an aftermarket HID kit.

I've got the WDS with me so i can check the wiring for the adaptive lights.

Can you lay it out in simple terms of what's accomplished here?

I see that you've built cables to go from pre-LCI to LCI headlights.

Is this for pre-LCI halogen and/or xenon and does it go to LCI halogen or xenon?

What I am understanding right now is that a person just needs to get LCI headlights and the cables you've made, that's it, right?

Cables are made for pre LCI Halogen to LCI Halogen (with projector).
I used HID's so i wont get iDrive errors.

Cables also work if you have pre LCI Xenon and going to LCI Xenon, just need to add a extra wire (ground) for the Xenon's

NOTE: If you go pre LCI Halo to LCI Xenon without the propper light module (if it works at all with the old light module = 280? + coding) you will have iDrive errors!!
or you can install HID's instead of the OEM ballast and bulb.

Oh nice, so this would make going to LCI headlights much easier.

How much are the cables?

AFAIK isn't all non-Xenon pre-LCI came w/o projector ... that's why the OP created the conversion cable.

Correct - Pre-LCI cars with no projectors are pre-LCI halogens to LCI halogens (which have projector lamps). If it works then could choose to fit an aftermarket HID kit into the LCI halogen headlights which should give a look of OEM LCI xenons
