Hey that's great to do a dyno before your mods. Which shop is doing the Dinan work and measurement?

That measure of 271 HP does seem low. With a rating of 360 HP and a 17-19% loss thru the powertrain, I would have expected to see something more like 295 HP at the rear wheels. But as was mentioned, every machine is different. The important figure is the one you get next time.

I was hoping for 300 but you're probably right.

Anyone considering Dinan may want to take a long hard look at this thread.

Fall Line Motorsports is doing my Dinan work.
The dyno was done at Chicago Performance & Tuning because they were much cheaper.

Never mind my prior comment ... I just saw this post from RPi and they hit 275 - consistent with your base run.

That just scared the shit out of me. I hope it was an isolated incident.

I will be going to the track the following friday so I will see the difference
in my quarter mile time. My original time was 13.8.

Don't let that scares you. Those threads are two years old so perhaps Dinan has corrected the problem.

I did Dinan CAI, throttle body/stage3 software and VERY happy with the result. Here is my review:

I'm going to dyno again this Friday and will let you know the result. Pre-Dinan number is 289 HP and 313 lbf of torque (Mustang Dyno).

I'm getting Dinan Stage 2 tomorrow. Maybe will put the Stage 3 in and then get the TB later. Not sure yet. Right now, it's decent. The 3" piping for dual duct definitely works well.

My butt dyno tells me that the Dinan stuff I installed gave my car more HP's at the wheels.
From stock to what I have done to this point for the Horse's has been strictly Dinan, and I'm very happy with the results.
