I have the unit from NavTV2 Go....I'm having trouble connecting the power to the unit. I read in a previous post that a spliter can be placed on the Idrive power connector to make this unit 100% plug and play. Is this the best solution? If so, where do I get the connector? If not, where do I run the cables to get power and a good ground for this unit? Also the IR cable is very very long, where is this positioned in the cabin?
Any detailed intructions and/or photos are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Didn't you receive any detailed instructions from NavTV2Go? Sell is supposed to support you since they know product better than us. However, I can give you some suggestions:
Grab power and ground from power outlet under footwell. Make sure you use fuse recommended by mfr to avoid fire hazard.
Anymore question, please let me know.

I was looking for a fuse diagram but didn't see one. The instructions on the power harness was very vague, it said what each wire was for but didn't offer any insructions on where to run it. That coupled with not having a diagram was pretty confusing. It was Sunday and they were closed so I thought I'd ask on the forum...I'll be calling Dom today. Thanks again.

Hi Kev,
The fuse that I'm talking about is the one included with the navtv unit. The fuse is enclosed in the black or white tube - roughly 2.5 to 4" long. Not the fuse in the glove box. Without the fuse, any overdrawn current will be fire hazard and you don't want to car to run this unit with that risk.
If the unit does not come with the fuse, you need to buy one to protect your car.
This is the fuse tube that should go with the unit or you must buy one. It's either 2A or 5A for navtv unit.
