Hey guys,

Thanks to Michael @ Acute Performance I just pulled the trigger on a set of VMR V718's 19x8.5/9.5 et 20/22 in silver.
I had originally wanted to go with the Matte Black finish that VMR offers, but they won't have any of the rears in stock until mid-August.
So instead of waiting, I'm just going to get the silver ones powder coated Matte Black.

Does anyone know of a good powder coating service/shop in the Southern Cali area?

Funny, I just recently did research and here are all the places I found, most of them being in OC:

Mag Masters
714-541-9777

New Year Metal Finishing
714-371-0703

Embee Performance
714-513-1669

Specialized Ceramic & Powder Coating
714-901-2628

Shoreline Motoring
714-698-1373

Olympic Powder Coating
714-979-2233

Andrews Powder Coating
818-700-1030

Fast Forward Wheels
323-262-7365

I ended up taking my wheels to New Year Metal Finishing as they had by far the best price (I needed to have the lips on my wheels masked off). I've heard great things about Mag Masters, Olympic Powder Coating, Embee, and Shoreline as well. Andrews Powder Coating is good if you live out in LA.

I hear good things about:

Embee Performance
714-513-1669

And I have used:

Fast Forward Wheels
323-262-7365

I should have shopped around more before using Fast Forward wheels since their pricing is on the higher end.

Try:

Nu-Tec Powder Coating
2990 East Blue Star Street, Anaheim, CA 92806-2511
(714) 632-5045

I heard from John Morgan Evans that it was like $175 for the FULL set and looks pretty good.
