Keep in mind that you won't know the true darkness unless all windows are tinted. So a sample of that tint isn't going to let you appreciate true darkness. You'll need to see a similar vehicle tinted at 15%.

FL has had tint laws atleast for the last 20 years (since I've been driving anyways). My last 2 cars I got tinted in Brandon, FL a shop along HWY 60, back in 2000-2003. The tinter had no probs tinting with 5% Llumar....on the receipt and Llumar certificate he put down the serial number for Llumar 35%. I had to get one of the windows warrantied because of a bubble, when I lived out in CA, and the shop glanced at the certificate, then asked what % was on there, and he matched it. Sweet and simple. Lived in CA for 10 years with FL tags and 5% tint, and never had an issue...got some glares from CHP, but never pulled over for it.

i technically live in tampa, but i am on the corner of causway and falkenburg... if you havent been to brandon in a while, there is a parallel town on causway, it has basically everything that is on 60, just newer. i thought FL didnt have tint laws a while back, i dont know. i only moved here a few months ago. i had my tint done by a shop on dale mabry.

Yep, yep...I left in early 2003, when I seperated from the military.....I remember those street names! I lived right around the corner from there off of Providence Lakes rd in the Providence Lakes sub division. I use to take Causeway to Falkenberg to hop on the Crosstown to get to Macdill. Don't miss that traffic..took an hr+ on most days to get down to Macdill. I went back down there a few years ago.....has grown, thats for sure.....that area you are talking about they were just developing before we left, and now it looks like the Cross Town dumps you out by the mall. The place that tinted my windows was just past Pep Boys on 60...on the corner at a stop light, on a side road on that same side of 60....was a car audio shop. At the time they tinted all of the Hillsboro County sheriff's cars
i work at macdill. fortunately i work weird hours so i spend about 15 mins driving to work from brandon... the crosstown does dump out at the mall now. i actually exit the 301 exit or falkenburg exit to get back to my apartment

why? just curious...
During the day the sun shines through the windshield and makes my front 2 windows look like 20% and you can see through them... I like my privacy.

8-5 for me...traffic sucked both directions. Was horrible getting on the base after 9-11. I'd be sitting in stopped traffic on Bay Shore until lunch time on some days. I'd just pull in at Chubby's for lunch.....mmmmm I miss that place!
yeah, i usually take the expressway to dale mabry. i have sat in 45 min traffic during normal hours 6:30-9ish
now we have hijacked this thread...

So I have read good reviews on here for Formula 1 window tint, and found a Formula 1 dealer locally, and to install 15% is $266....which I think is damn good.
Just curious if anyone has pics of this installed on their 5 series or of the Pinnacle 35%?
