Scary.
Any update on your issue, or can you post those track slips? The trap speed is important for horsepower.

I hit another 400hp with my iPhone software that shows my improvements.

Here you go. These are my 4 best runs from Friday. I don't know about that theory
because my slowest time has one of the best speeds.

I don't have my original slip but i remember it was 13.8 @ 103.5mph

I need glasses, I can barely read the numbers.

First, are all those 4 times for your car? It has the same car number for left and right but I thought left and right would be for two different cars. I have no idea how to read the time slip. LOL!!

Does it say 103.97, 105.50, 104.71 and 105.54?

Assuming your original run was 103.5 and after the mods, you're getting above 105mph trap speed, then you made a nice improvement. Your car is going faster on average, at the end of the strip showing that you're producing more horsepower at that point. This would tie in with the premise that stronger airflow at higher speeds produced more power on the Dinan mods.

Then what I read is a couple of miles per hour improvement, actually if I could see 2 mph higher trap speed on my quarter mile run from these mods I would be very happy. The experts should better comment.

It was street drag night so they were'nt displaying the times on the screen and they you only
got the half of the time slip with your time because guys were racing for money.

Those are my 4 slips taped together.

Ah okay. So did I read the speeds right? If so, like I said before, you made a good improvement. People on M5board bicker about 2-3mph differences in trap speeds so it's no small margin.

your 60ft times are equating loss of traction, 2.0 or less is ideal, Also you have to remember that this is a 5,000lb car. To get that much weight going you'll need gears like 4.10's ( LSD qualffe if possible) those with your 6 speed should help the kick in the pants. Also some sticker street tires like Azenis 615's, Star spec, nito 555 drag radials, After that would be a HD Clutch. Also try some lighter 18 rim tire package that will help the drag times.

So pretty much put the car on a diet or get some sticker tires and some gears. Um 13.8 is pretty fast for a sedan of this size.

To clarify, this car is only about ~4000 lbs, not 5000.

Also try going to the road course your car will surprise you. Going in a straight line is over rated you still have to stop and turn. Put that 50/50 weight distrib and that German handeling to work!
