My Ride: A Car
you know what? If you can get a refund for you Dinan stuff, I wanna get a refund for my Dinan Stage 1 AND Stage 2 remap. I'll freakin drive my other car and send my remap to Trinity. Phuck, I'm not spending $600 on something that gives me better throttle response. I wouldn't even spend over $100. I just bought a GTECH and it's coming in the mail. If I dont get AT LEAST 340 at the crank, I'll shoot Dinan and then myself in the foot. The remap should be at least 333 at the crank!!! Non-USDM e60s 545's put out 333. I'll be happy with 280whp.
Let's see what Dinan has to say.

My car is pushing 262hp at the wheel....I'm betting you will be no where close to 280....We still haven't fully tested my remap yet...But this # was prior to the remap...If anything, the remap will only add 5-8 whp...Most people that ride in my car say the tq is alot stronger than their 545....I have yet to really race anyone yet....

Measures:
Horsepower
Torque
60 Ft. Time
1/8th & 1/4 mile
0-60 & 0-100-0mph
RPM & Shiftlights
Handling Gs
Record up to 30 runs
3 precision sensors
Road Racing/Autocross
PASS Software
Multiple Vehicle Support
2hr data-acquisition
Well, I guess I'll compare it with Scott's 550i and Rich's 535i. It's more real life numbers with the GTECH...probably much better than the dyno since drag coeff, weight, etc is all taken into account. I wish I bought this GTECH sooner so I can see how it is bone stock. Actually, who has a BONE STOCK 545i who wants to give it a shot when I get the GTECH? Then it'll kinda gimme a baseline. Then I'll cover up the second dual intake hole with some duct tape and do a quick run. Then do one with the full dual duct. Mebbe I'll also remove the RPi scoops and see how much more it gives me.
