here is a little perspective concerning hp increases.

in the july car and driver, they modified a subaru wrx.

before:
hp: 209
torque: 225

0-60: 4.7
1/4: 13.5 @ 101

after:
hp: 265
torque: 293

0-60: 4.4
1/4: 13.1 @104

i agree that you should have seen some increase on the dyno, but your mph increase in the 1/4 does indicate a relatively substantial increase in hp.

oh and dont race a subaru.

If you look these threads: https://5series.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=33444 and https://5series.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=22686

a member ZNOD with his 545i did 13.370 secs @ 106.396 mph (1/4 mile run) and 4.867 secs in 0-60 run.

a member Grogan545 with his 545i did 0-60 at 4.78 secs.

Not sure their cars were bone stock or not..

I think both their cars were stock. They managed to get those awesome times by working on their launch repeatedly and gained a lot of experience from it. Just goes to show you again that you can't compare numbers from different cars/drivers.

Yeah the cars were stock. ZNOD had some 18" Style 101 wheels and Grogan used 17" stock wheels. No performance mods, not even suspension. Vegastrashed can probably confirm. He met up with ZNOD a while back in AZ.

Actually Znod had B&B exhaust/Dinan throttle body at one point but removed due to decreased performance. He was never able to match his OEM times with the Dinan throttle body/B&B exhaust installed.

Were those timed runs done at a racetrack or on the street with G-Tech?

From what I've seen G-Tech isn't as accurate.

The times were from a G-Tech but I recall that he also used the G-Tech at a track to compare the times and it was off by a tenth of a second or so.
