Just a small update on the accessories front...

Got the wood gearshift in today - looks good I think..
...also as winter approaches stored the velour mats and got the BMW rubber one's
in. Not as luxurious looking as the velours, but nevertheless tasteful and more
important practical.

I'd say within 2 or 3 weeks I will purchase a set of winter wheels/tyres...
17"rims -- 225/50/17 Continental WinterSport ( non runflat )

There is a rim from the 7series ( design 95 ) I like - and I think I will have this one as the winter rim...pic below

Have found a set of rims ( not BMW original - they are look alike ) and tyres for 1150 euros.

andy545, I think the wood really classes the e60 up a notch or two when it is added. It looks really good! Nice rims too. Thanks for the pictures!!!

Thanks Dennis...

Do your wintermats come in the beige colour...?

BTW, I gonna go to wielcompleet in Rotterdam soon for the winter setup.
I'm happy I can see how the rims ( design 95 ) will look on an E60 from those pics. And I think you were the one who posted those pics originally on the forum!!

If you like, and you have time, we can go together...

Mine is! After I changed disc I had a message in I-drive saying something along the lines of 'new dvd version, please switch off for 5 minutes.' Did you get that?

Don't worry - must be the Samsung media - will make one for you using
Verbatim media..
Mine hasn't had a glitch since I installed it a week ago...

I was looking at your dashboard photo and I don't see any cupholders. Am I missing something?

Nice pictures! The wood handle certainly adds a touch of class.

Will be one of my first interior additions.
