Changing it to white is not as good as changing it to amber. Try to take the side marker light and swap it with the one for angel eye to see go it goes.

The Angel Eyes are illuminatd by a special light socket, it has a integrated bult that cannot be changed

So unless you cut it open and solder in a new bulb I dont know how you would change it

Most of us have seen 3 series with these white Angel Eyes mod. It's been posted on here before. I think that's a different set-up though.

Wrong. The bulb can be easily taken out. It's exactly the same size as side marker bulb. Mine is Halogen. HID may be different. Some member here can confirm.

metroE60 may or may not have modified his angel eyes to a whiter color. There are many photographic techniques that (as well as PS) that could make the lights appear whiter.

That said, I found some specific "parking light" parts in the ETK that might be for the angel eyes. I'm not doubting E60Speed at this point since he's usually right on the money with his information but does anyone know something more specific about the following circled parts?

Halogen:

if i remember readying correctly a while ago it was a bigger project that required disassembly of the entire housing, and some custom work.

however i could be wrong ... wouldn't be the first time.
