In the next couple months, I am going to add a new front and rear bumper and sides.

I want to get wheels on the car first.

Please help me decide what wheels and tires.

My wants:
Must be staggered.
I like matte black but am afraid the car will be too dark so im leaning to gunmetal or silver.
I dont like the machined look, so that helps narrow down a little.
I would like 20s but wouldnt hate 19s.
wheels must accommodate bmw center caps.
i prefer that they not need spacers or adapters unless someone can tell me why they are ok.

tires? im open. I'll spend a little more to get rigid sidewalls and decent tires. i bought cheap performance tires for another car i had after having michelin pilots and the car drove like crap after.

I'm trying to spend around 2m but would go to 2.5m, to get something i like with decent tires.

i was looking at breyton gts with contis from tire rack but think i can get more from someone on here.

please help me. i look at frickin wheels all day long and cant make up my mind.

my car is in my sig... oh and i have drug dealer dark windows. its too damned hot here not to.

i've narrowed it down... I pretty much decided on the vorsteiners, but due to simple ease of purchase (tire rack) i'm on the fence about the breytons. the VMRs are the cheapest, so there is the appeal. as far as tires, Im considering conti extreme contact dw.

keep in mind, there are zero e60s in town that are modded and only 3 or 4 M5s... So I wont see someone with the same wheels around every corner no matter which i choose.

what do you all think about

I was in the same boat as you. I went with the Vorsteiners due to the fact that a LOT of cars (e90) here have the VMRs. Besides, I think my car deserves better shoes Either one you choose, it'll be a big step up

yes i did. i really dig the HPE look but I dont love the machined look with a black car... and the all all black is too much. my windows are 5% and its already dark enough which is why im trying to go gun or darker silver.

those wheels are sweet though...

also, i cant justify spending a ton on this car... its just the bridge to my M.
