Hey guys, i really need ur opinion. I love the 128s soo much, that im planing on buying replicas 18". the reason is that 19" is just tooo much in my country since it has rocky roads and a lottaaa holes in the ground.
The replicas have different offsets then the normal 18" oem(like 123 and 135). does it matter? wht will happen if i install them and they have different offsets?
wht will change in my car? looks? comfort? performance?
Any help is appreciated
thx guys

I have two BMW OEM style # 71, 18inch rims, with TOYO Proxie tires, that I am selling for $550.00. The rims are like new and the tires have 7-3/2 worth of even tread left. (SEE PIC)

I have just purchased OEM 128s. I decided to go against reps mainly as I read horrible stories about them here. Original is original, especially on a car as good as E60.

arrggg....
Please stay away from the Replicas.
You may get a set that does not feel good (vibration, etc.).
Save money on the Tires, not the Wheels.
If you have no choice but to go with replicas, then make sure that you have spoken to others who have bought the exact ones.
Personally, I do not think that 19" wheels are any rougher than 18"
Why not just go with more rubber on your tires (go with 35s rather than 30s)?
If you have the nonsport package, the 35/40 setup should work fine.
You can make up a lot of offset issues with the right spacers.

Hey monaco. how r u doin.i see you live in miami. I went there for 2 spring breaks. My aunt lives there,it was great.
I wish i had known u a bit earlier, as i bought 2 SBs and wanted someone to test them for me before having them shipped over here.
Yes, as you said, i have the non-sport package and decided to go with OEM 124s. 40 front 35 rear.
Thx for the advice.tc
