Looking good Calton......... I'll have to see them in person at the March meet.
BTW, thanks for the directions for the Hoens, got them installed today and turned out great.

The v2.0 was advertised as being twice as bright so I had imagined they'd be close to the brightness of those phosphyre halos I've seen on those E46 M3s but in pictures they don't look that much brighter than the V1.0. What do you guys think?
Hey Dave - You sold me V2.0 and not 1.0, right? JK!

The best people to judge whether 2.0 is brighter than 1.0 are the owners of the 1.0 upgrading to 2.0.
Good news is mine just shipped. Cold weather be dammed, these are going in as soon as they arrive.
After they arrive I'll be taking comparison pictures of then next to my 3'er which has phosphyre halos (ATM), soon to be predator chromiums.

Let me know if you need any help Ed. More than happy to meet up and help if you need my assistance. Just give me a shout. You know where to find me.
In exchange, I'll let you take a spin. Warning: you may want to trade in for an M5

My Ride: 06 Z4 Montego Blue, 07 530i Monaco Blue
The V2.0 is twice as bright as the original iBright V1.0 but you have to keep in mind your looking at clear plastic rings filled with light and not directly at a "light source" such as the xenon headlights on your car, its a big difference.
And for Black525i and others with the blue iBrights, your eye is extremely sensitive to the blue wavelength of light, so blue will always "appear" brighter.
Please keep posting and sending us pictures, we always love to have new ones added to our gallery!

Drove over to cmansbimmer's home this morning to get help installing these bad boys. And man, I'm glad I got help b/c these are a real PITA to install. Getting the Hella light assembly in and out is beyond irritating/annoying. Took 2 hours total for both sides. He was convinced that his install was much easier than mine
In return, I helped him hardwire his V1 (which took only a fraction of the time I struggled with mine) and a little seat time behind the wheel of my M5. Hope you enjoyed it, C!
The color is a nice pure white. Brighter than stock, but still not that bright in daylight (although, today was particularly sunny). Now, I have to get my DRL's turned off.
Anyway, some pics:
