Congrats for 545i and for manual transmission!
Can I suggest the first mod ?
Change final drive ratio for haveing shorter gears : you can choose between :
-7% (3.15) by www.bimmerworld.com ($998)
-11% (3.23) by http://www.vacmotorsports.com/ (less than $1000)
- 15% (3.38) by surely http://www.koalamotorsport.com/ and others .
- 17-18% (3.45) by many .
and 7-10 hrs of works .
You will notice that manual (and SMG) trasmission 545i has too long gears and it mean lacking of performance compared with the engine you have under the bonnet .

My Ride: Silvr Gray 545, 6spd manual, breyton front, acs rear wing, navi, maya dtm 20" on H&R springs and Eismann exhaust.
