How much did you pay for H&R springs (plus installation)?
Sorry, what car is that? 2008 535xi?
Thanks

FYI, if you read my original post, you'll see that these H&R sport springs for the XI (same ones for the 530xi and 535xi) are on backorder for at least 6 weeks, but they will be well worth the wait. I can't wait to get them on. You can buy them at www.allprings.com (a division of Turner) for $252 + $16 shipping. They are also sold on www.ModBargains.com for $225 + $30 shipping. www.TurnerMotorsports.com $245 + $25 shipping. No matter from whom you order, they all come from Turner Motorsports and are on backorder. My installation is going to cost about $260 not including alignment and should be about a 3.5 to 4 hour job. Good luck!

What's up Riviera,
I got a quote from gary for $1295 shipped to riverdale NY zip 10471. The tires you will probably have to buy from tirerack or what ever company you choose. Don't forget you have to by the pressure sensors also. figure all together about $2700 depending what tires you go with. I hear that the michellin p2 are the best summer tires. $350 each more or less.
I'm in the same boat and about to pull the trigger soon just checking all of my options.

I'll take pictures of my car with 19's and the H&R springs next week. My car has had them installed for 4 months now, so they are settled as they'll ever be. I'm in San Francisco for work this week, so the pix will have to wait until I get back.

Calton,
Thanks for the pics when you get back...will be interested to see the "final height." By the way, was it worth it to get that extra set of BMW centercaps? I am looking to buy a set if you think it's worth it. Thanks.....Dave Drlev99

And yes, it's well worth it for new cap. Get the new caps for your new wheels. Hell, they only cost $20.

Also, Gideon sent me the M stickers for the wheels. I got them yesterday, before I left for SF. I sent him an email last week and sure enough, they showed up in the mail. I'll attach them next week.

Keep in mind that the 124's for the xi does not have a deep dish look like the 124's for the i. If I were you, I would do the standard rear "i" 124's and the xi 124 fronts. The offset on the rears for the standard car will work perfect. I almost went this route, but decided last minute to back out as I didn't lik the "flatter" look on the 124's for the xi. I also wanted 19's.

Calton, the offset on the standard wheel is et20 so this will push the wheel out further in the rear and the xi offset is et43 fpr the front so this will bring the wheel in closer. At the end it will appaer as if I had real wide wheels in the rear. Am I correct on this assumption?
And by standard rear (I) do you mean the 275 -35 -18?
Thanks Rick...

Thanks Rick...
Check this website for the specs on the 124's for the 530xi:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=36&fg=15
And specs for the 124's for the 530i:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=36&fg=15
Both 124 sets are staggered: ET43 front and ET55 rear for the xi vs. ET20 in front and ET32 in rear for the i. As you state above, I am not sure if the 530i rears would fit the xi so well, based on this info. They might stick out too far, as you said. As for the fronts, the xi 124's will fit perfectly, as they are made for the xi, which has a standard ET43 offset in the front. I guess we should wait to see what Calton says re: the ET32 offset of a 530i 124 wheel with 275's fitting the rear of an xi.
Currently, Calton and I have a rear wheel offset of ET45 on our VB-3 CSL's with 275/30/19's, and they fit great. He says he still has room for some spacers! So.....Calton, what do you say on this matter? DrLev99
