I took those "after" pics couple days after the lowering so the car hasn't settled yet. Now my car has been riding on the new springs for about 2 weeks and it's really lowering more. I'll take some pics later today.
I'd love to see some current pics.....dropping over the wheels?! How's that look?

With 19" rims and stock springs: ride is a bit rougher, but very acceptable.
With 19" rims and H&R springs: ride is a lot rougher, and still "ok" acceptable.
With 19" rims and coilover (my dream for the xi): PRICELESS
Bambi,

Are those 18's or 19's on your car?

to everybody,
how much is a set of Spoke 124 style 18" tires for an xi (not for an "i")?

thanks
What's up Riviera,

I got a quote from gary for $1295 shipped to riverdale NY zip 10471. The tires you will probably have to buy from tirerack or what ever company you choose. Don't forget you have to by the pressure sensors also. figure all together about $2700 depending what tires you go with. I hear that the michellin p2 are the best summer tires. $350 each more or less.
I'm in the same boat and about to pull the trigger soon just checking all of my options.

Thanks for the pic, Bambi. It doesn't look as low as you described. I don't see it hanging over the wheel as you may have described, or was that Calton who said that? I think it looks good at the height you are showing. I will be sure to post real pics once my springs come in....will have to wait till end of July as things are now! Take care,
