My Ride: 2008 Alpine White 550i Sport, Cream Beige Interior, 6-Sp Manual - retired 9/2011
My ride finally looks like a "true" BMW now! Hey all.....just got my H&R Sport Springs installed today at Auto Illusions in Moon Township, for anyone in the Pittsburgh area looking for a high quality job. I was charged $65/corner...$260 total, not including alignment. It took them about 4 hours at most. They had zero problems and did a great job. I also posted some pics below with my new VB-3 CSL 19's installed and will update/replace them when I get some better lighting tomorrow. I also added some pics with the 17" OEM's, post-drop, in my gallery if interested.

No doubt about that! Now I have the same wheels as Calton, Cmansbimmer. He was my inspiration, mentor and hero throughout the process. LOL! Thanks C.

ps. car looks great!
I will tell you NOW. The ride is 10 times better than stock. It not only looks like a BMW now but rides like one should. The stock xi model rides so mushy and high up, and it's a real pleasure, post-drop, to finally be sitting along side all of you other i folks, at the same level. Unlike some, I don't find the ride to be harsh at all, even with the 19's and low profile tires. Compared to my prior '05 Maxima SE, which had the harshest suspension I've ever driven, my BMW now still feels softer than that car, but I'm closer. This is the way the car should come off the assembly line. To all xi owners, this mod is a must, and that means you, Rick! Get some new 19's for that car of yours too ! Oh, and thanks for the compliment!

I wouldn't say the ride is harsh with the springs. But the car is very bouncy! Sometimes I can feel my car "jump" quite high when I hit an even surface on highway driving around 120km/h and the feeling is quite scary.
