My Ride: 2005 530i Silver Gray/ Gray Leather. SP,PP
Well guys, the time have arrived Im almost done with my system.
First of all, I want to first thank KU530 for all the help. truly a classy guy . Thanks for the wires and pillars bro. Wrote him over over 75 pm's and bunch of phone calls and was always there to help me. You were right about the charcoal vinyl, really goes well with the doors and the aluminum trim. You wont also believe what was wrong with the lrx6.9 Cant believe it took almost 2 days to find the problem.
Rj, My South American Compadre, Mi Hermano, im almost at the finish line, thanks for all your help and support. just got some tuning left. i made it
Also want to thank Dewayne Bollers at Sound Depot and Performance in Gainesville, Fl.,. he did all the fabrication. Excellent professional. really informed me through the whole process.
made sure i was ok with everything from the beginning. Took him 3 days to do the install
As some of you know, i stated with the sound system upgrade about 4 months ago. the first phase was installing the alpine hub with the cd changer, ipod, and navigation.
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=37889&hl=
The second phase was choosing the speakers, sub, and amps. really happy i took the plunge with some of the very best top of the line name brands. you really get what you pay for.
although i went over budget by several thousand of dollars, but im glad i did. glad i didn't cut corner anywhere, from wiring to misc stuff.
The third phase was sound deadening the trunk and doors and run the wires which me and my buddy did a couple of weeks ago.
And then i took El BIMMER with the interior completely stripped to Gainesville in my buddy tow truck .
Got bunch of pics of all the process, from the sound deadening to the fabrication process that i will upload in the next couple of days.
for now heres a couple of pics i got on my phone.
Will take some more pics on my camera of the finish install tomorrow.
Will take the car to Steve Head From AUDIONUTZ, a highly respected installer in the industry to have it tune.

will post some pics tonight when I get home..im on my phone right now.working a 13 hr shift today. trying to catch up on a lot of stuff at work..
Marquies,
Since we both got the gray interior,I think you should look into getting the M5 brushed aluminum interior kit.. I think it will look HOT with the suede interior.it gives the interior a sportier look.. I'm loving mines. really blends in with the door pods and pillars..
