Interested in others opinions about my painted calipers. I had the calipers completely removed and torn down and then powder coated. The color is a bit off beat, but matches the BMW Blue in the logo and I think looks really cool. The calipers themselves are more discreet in person than in the photos because the flash hightights them. Lastly, sorry about the center cap on the wheel being upside down. It was raining this morning in Pittsburgh and I waxed her yesterday and didn't want to risk getting her wet.

Not my cup of tea. I'd suggest Black Caliphers or better yet Red like everyone else. That blue, its like baby blue, its U-G-L-Y, sorry, no offense, just my honest opinion.

No problem. Like I said, the pictures don't do them justice becuase the flash lights them up un-naturally. The spokes on the 101's are tight, thus not a lot of light gets in there. Anyway, looks much better in person vs. picture. BTW, I felt the same way when I saw the calipers sitting on the bench off the car. Too blue.

Rims -> not too bad to keep clean. Have a couple different brushes. Wash the car weekly, so the brake dust doesn't get a chance to bake on too much.

Looks fine to me. Red or even bronze would look better.

I think it looks OK actually. Why have red like everyone else - it's just what we have become accustomed too. If blue had been the default colour for this we would have been used to that too.

I'd like to see pictures in daylight without the flash though to get a truer idea of what they look like.
