Back on topic (sorry for straying), the wheels are nice, and I like the lip. Since the wheel spokes appear to be painted would it make sense to paint them using the car color? Might give a little more contrast with the polished lip as well.

Yeah, I'm considering painting to match. I dinged and scratched one of my 124 style sport wheels when I was moving them around in the garage. I need to take the wheel to a place in N. Hollywood to get it repaired. I will probably get an estimate to paint the new wheels Silver Gray to match while I'm there. I think I'm pushing it with the wife though, she didn't seem to thrilled when I told her I was having 3M clear bra installed tomorrow. Telling her I need to spend another $500 to repaint my new wheels could push her over the edge. Oh well, she'll get over it.

A possible solution...

Take her out next weekend for lunch then immediately to the mall and tell her to pick-out a new pair of shoes and a bag.
This may set you back $300 or more (depending on her tastes) but you will get what you want done to your car.

Well, u probably need to get ur wife an expensive bra or other similar special item to show her she means as much as the BMW
