I'd suggest:
1. Lowering via sports springs (H&R or Eibach?).
2. Stiffening via sway bard (H&R)
3. M-tech body kit
4. M5 side mirrors

Eibach doesn't make springs for the xi. Trust me on that. H&R only for the AWD model. Actually, Hamann does too, but they are essentially H&R's and they want $600 for theirs.

My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front. Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.

Excellent choice on your rims, I got the exact same rims as yours =)

You have to get it lowered, mine is lowered with 1.2" in front, 1.5" in back, for a non xi model. I have the kit from Sachs (basically upgraded struts and Eibach springs).
But it's really hard to keep the wheels clean though......

Those really are nice wheels! When you get it lowered it will look great and handle better too.
