Also, on image resize, doing a Bilinear resize will present less aliased lines or jaggies...

The MS Powertool for image resizing isn't bad... You just right click on the image in a Windows XP folder and select Resize. It will make a copy of the image at the size you specified.

Thanks for all the great replies guys. It's amazing the difference between this and "the other" board.

I mentioned a couple of weeks back on that other board that I've never had so many people walk up to me an comment on my car -- and this is my fourth 5 and my other car's a Porsche. Some of the quirks are, well, quirky but there simply is no other sedan that can match this car for driving dynamics. And besides, I love driving something that looks like nothing else on the road.

That's one of the reasons why I put on the 89s - just to have a different look. I wish the 18s filled out the wheel wells better though. Has anyone with the sport package (with active steering and ARS) tried to lower their car?

BTW, yes, that is Marlborough Street and I did pay extra for the 89s. I've still got the stock wheels and haven't decided whether to sell them or use them for winters.

Thanks again. It's great to have found this board.

Yup....those wheels are awesome. Now I really want to see them in person.

Did your dealership give you a good price on the wheels or did you have to pay retail? Did you negotiate the wheels before or after you made your deal?

AWESOME PICS! Gosh I miss the East Coast and the great architecture.

Great color choice - I love those rims. I too was wondering what they would look like on the E60.

Hi Hinckley:

...do have to say nice wheels. I really wanted them but refused to buy them without seeing them on a car first. My dealer was going to let me switch them out without an upcharge. I too wanted to be different with those wheels as I still have not seen another car in So Cal with them. Nice car, thanks for the pics!

Aloha, mahalo for your pic as well!
