I got around to installing my LED angel eyes today. 2007 550i.
The first light I loosened, but couldnt get the headlight out and tried harder to do it without removing the assembly. I got it. So I did the 2nd one without removing the assembly. I have a ton of little cuts on my hands, but so be it.
here are some pics of before/after etc:
One headlight stock, other LED
stock
LED
Complete
Ta da!

Curious what brand as well. From the pics, looks just like the color is now white/blue instead of the dim white/almost yellow -doesnt look any brighter than the factory bulbs.

I actually got them off of ebay for $40 delivered from Hong Kong. High quality looking assemblies etc.
I will have to take some pictures at night to see how they compare to the level of the bulb.
Here is a picture of the bulbs themselves:
I couldnt believe how lame the stock little halogens were.

My Ride: 2006 Titanium Silver 550i, with all the bells and whistles!!
interesting! I like it! So, aside from the little cuts, how difficult was the install?
Looking Good, thanks for posting!

hate to say it bro, I bought a set for my e39, it was very dimm, and one blew within 3 weeks, I was pretty upset, bought a set from Umnitza right away and it's been almost 8 months w.o any problem, and it's ALOT brighter.
I hope your last longer... goodluck

to answer a few questions:
The install was not bad...tedious is how I would describe it. I tried to remove one headlight assembly but it wasnt coming loose and I was concerned about scratching the front bumper so I tried to get it done as is. Once I figured out specifically what turned which way to remove/install, it is fairly simple. But tedious because of the tight space.
I have 2 e60s...because we needed a 2nd car, this 550i CPO was available for a good price, we bought it. My 528i is a lease and it is up later this year, so we will get something else. It we are going to lease one car (which limits its miles), I would rather it be the pleasure/fun car..e.g. convertible or smaller 4 seater. The 550i is an awesome family car for long drives/road trips...so I would rather own it.
I hope these do not fade and die. But I knew it was a chance and decided to take it. If they do, I will update this thread.
thx
