I installed Lomag's H&R 15mm Spacers on my rear wheels this Saturday
Lomag initially had these on & then decided to go for 20mm's on the rear.

So thanks Lomag for a great deal and for getting them to me before going on your holliday

Anyway, there is a comparison pic below, and then a couple of other pics showing the rear wheels.

It really makes an improvement on the 135M wheels which are 245's all round.
Fills the wheel arches better and gives the illusion of a staggered setep

Spacers on the rear of the car help out a lot. It makes the car look a little sportier and proper. I felt 12 was good enough for me.

They look great. Can you tell me which kit you have got, is it the DR30 H&R kit?

I think I am going to buy some too. Was it difficult to install with extra long bolts?

Also, did you apply 15mm per wheel or 15mm overall (i.e. 7.5mm per wheel)?

Hi IMU,

Very easy to install. Lomag ordered the extra long bolts and had the tips black powder coated. (see attached pic)

So all I had to do was remove the wheel (gave them a good clean at the same time) mount the spacer, replace the wheel and bold the wheel back on. Very easy!!

I put 15mm on the rear wheels only (15mm per wheel), no spacers on the front. I do not think they are needed on the front, but that's just my personal opinion.

I was wondering....would adding spacers affect the handling of the car in any way??

The Sports suspension is already great when cornering, but I think the extra width of the rear track makes it even better!

BMW#5,

Looks great!

I'm not familiar with the 530i tires. I didn't realize it was 245's all around.

How wide are the wheels?
