i have the same color, same model, but different year car. I just bought a full ACS kit (front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear lip spoiler, trunk spoiler, roof spoiler). Putting it on stock wheels. I shoot some pix over once I get it shipped here and installed. If i like it with stock wheels, I'll leave the stockers. If not, I'll probably get something.

BTW, i started a thread on ideas to mount body kits. no one responded. I was thinking maybe i can use some industrial strength velcro so in case i am going somewhere where the lip will get scraped or driving a long highway trip, i can easily remove it.

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

I would suggest against this. Not only would it look horrible because of the gap between the velcro pieces, but I don't believe that would have sufficient grip to hold onto the pieces while driving at high speeds. The pieces should either fit over existing ones or completely replace them.

For the front lip, maybe you could try using a sort of wingnut and bolt combo to make it easier to remove if necessary.
