Nope.

There is a lot of stuff out there and everybody who is selling it tells you it works.
The facts are: NOTHING works!
They can clearly see your license plate, because they have pretty good machines and software to work with the gamma, brightness, etc...
And once they find out that you have done something with your license plate you'r in deep trouble, at least in Germany, since the license plate is a government issued document, so it is like if you use a fake ID.
It is illegal and doesn't work, so do not spend money on it.

I am serious, Nick.
I have seen pictures where you were not able to see the license plate, it was one huge reflection. But they managed to get a clear picture out of it without ANY reflection!
Those cameras are so good, they can zoom in later in their lab and see everything, where you're looking at, the exact length of your beard, anything.
The cameras here in EU are just bad for us drivers.
They even found ways to take radar pictures without your radar detector warning you.

Nope.
It's not illegal. They can take their pics howeveer, wherever and from what angle they want.

I dono about Europe but my friends in Australia just use hairspray and they never get in trouble even after their pictures are taken.
