Your opinion pls.

In the meantime, I have my Mini (and its plate) very dirty due to 4-5 days on skiing and I don't wash it for now

i think i watched it on mythbusters before and it didn't work at all... they finally busted it using a rocket car or something to that end and it was too fast for the camera to register it...

so nope no dice.. i only wish! lol

I saw that episode. As I recall they used a Ferrari .
I thought the entire thing was absurd. I have a photography background and those cameras work on strobe duration, not shutter duration to create exposure.
They require in the neighborhood of 1/20,000 of a second to create a discernible image, you'd have to be pushing the sound barrier to create image blur.
As for the sprays, the only way to create a spectral reflection like what they claim is to reflect most of the strobe light directly back into the lens. That assumes a highly reflective surface and just the right angle every time. Its imposible to achieve with even remote consistency, its more likely you'll be saved by a pigeon flying in front of the camera lense.
I suggest pulling over and unscrewing your plate, prior to running the red light.

Nothing works!

They get you, trust me. And when you use something like this spray you will get SERIOUS problems if they find out! The license plate is an official document. Changing it or adding stuff to it is forgery of documents!
