Lee:
You were 100 percent on the money about how good Mike's (and in particular, Armando) is. Today they solved my rear spoiler woes. Now it fits great and is not popping off. Armando spotted the problem: when it was repainted, the paint got onto parts on the underside of the spoiler where the double stick tape is supposed to grip. So when the previous folks put on double stick tape over the painted parts, it did not adhere properly. Armando took out a razor and pain-stakingly removed all of the paint on the underside and actually applied a smaller size of double stick tape on the edges of the spoiler. And lo and behold (no pun intended), it finally held.
Three cheers for Mike's and three cheers for Armando.
And thanks to Lee for an outstanding reference.
Next task--repainting the spoiler. The body shop that had repainted it messed up and dd not sand down the spoiler prior to repainting it. As a result, it now has an unslightly fish-eyed pitted look.

I can't believe the poor spoiler has to go thru all these repainting, sanding, taping, stripping, retaping, resanding and re-repainting. The sitting on shelf and looking pretty in the garage days are over.
Glad to hear that the whole spoiler saga will come to an end soon. GL Scott.

I have to repaint the damn spoiler because the pitting looks horrendous in the light. The spoiler has to look like the rest of the car.
But for once, it is a pleasure to see the spoiler sitting on my trunk properly installed.
Well now I finally have an auto body guy.

Cheers, Scott!
Hey guys, I would not want to steer you all astray. After all, I have to see you and talk to you, ya' know.
This is an A-ONE choice for body and paint work. I doubt anyone in our area can compare both in
quality and in just being good people.

Armando really is all of that.
I am bringing my spoiler back there to get it repainted to get rid of the fisheye effect.

I'm still getting pm s from you all. It's very gratifying, but it is all of you who use Mike who will be the most grateful!
