I just bought my car with a Perma Plate paint protection and interior leather protection. I did a search on this product and found about 4 threads dating back in 2004. It looks like I should cancel this order.

Has anyone ordered Perma Plate and how has your experience been? Any responses provided soon would be appreciated as I need to make up my mind by tomorrow.

Sounds like another name for Teflon coating to me. I think waxing every 3 months will protect your paint. I'm guessing you dropped this?

I ordered it and and would not do it again. I'm not convinced it is any better than Zaino. I also found had some issues with bird droppings and water spots that ultimately required ScratchX to remove.

All of these synthetic car treatments are gimmicks. (ie Auto Butler, Perma Plate, or whatever)

Real enthusiasts know that only elbow grease keeps a car clean.
