Try a search, there are a few posts about 530 upgrades...it's how i came across eurobahn. I know one member installed the chip on his 530 and was happy with the results. I mean for around $650 and 20+ bhp it's not a big price. If you look at it dollar-per-horsepower it's a better deal than a $9999 supercharger for 100bhp, but not NEARLY as fun!!! =)

2000 Jeep Wrangler non-stock =)
If money isn't a big deal, i'd go for it. However, "chips" aren't high on my list at the moment as the 530 is quick enough for me for the time being. It does bother me that 525s have as much bhp as mine does, but i'll suffer for a bit. I'd say, expect next to nothing, but when you do feel the tiny bit of extra oomph, smile. =)
Oh, warranty might make me a little nervous, but as vegas said, they don't hunt for it, they have better things to do.

These chips rarely add anything. Even Dinan says a NA (non-turbo) BMW is tuned just about to perfection by BMW. Save your cash.

I don't believe that chiptuning itself can add more than 5hp gain on the 530i
I performed a serious research based on the '03 - 330i ZHP - Performance package version, which has been originally chiptuned by BMW along with more aggressive camshafts. The gain for that version was 10-12 true Hp (from 225 pushed to 235 rated by the US measurement standards >3% lower that EU ...I don't know why!) but we know here in Europe that this Engine normally has got 231 bhp, so if I install those 2 hotter camshafts on my 3.0 lit. engine (I'm on the preparation steps now) then, I will get: 231 + 10 Hp by camshafts + 5 Hp by a usual chiptuning + 5 Hp by my already instelled Supersprint exhaust and K&N free flow air filter ....total 251 HP at least
What do you guys think? any comments?

I did it for my car, just a slight improvement in acceleration. It's probably psychological, and i would say.. save your cash! Get an aftermarket exhaust instead.
