I couldn't believe why it does not have rear back-up camera and front prism camera shown in the accessory book. It's already two years passing. I'd love to have them.

 

Has anyone heard more about this? I'd like to get the graphic display pdc installed in my car, even if it was just the rears.

This website shows that the PDC unit goes in the trunk. I don't see why it's not just plug and play, especially for the rears.

Also, on X5world.com, a guy did a retrofit PDC on his X5 and his X5 was PREWIRED for PDC. How cool would it be if the E60s are prewired for this?

Can anyone confirm? I'm guessing we are because BMW sells a retrofit kit. Should be plug and play.
