Hello

I just installed an mtec front end with pdc but my car doesn't have pdc. What have other ppl done with this situation to cover the holes?

You can go to a body shop and have it filled but the downside of that is I believe they have to paint the whole bumper again.

That would be great if they don't have to paint it again. I'm definitely gonna look it to that. Thanks ?

If they are filed they I will have to be painted. If they are filled the A surface will have to sanded to feather and blend filler material flush which will leave you with a surface that requires paint. When your bumper gets damaged to the substrate the insurance co will most likely replace it with a new one. Some insurance co might try to pull a fast one one you and tell you it can be repaired. Thats BS and never accept this. Our bumpers are made from PP and there is a special process required to get things to stick to it. The surface must be flamed. Over the years companies have developed chemicals to use such as bulldog to be a tie coat but this is mainly for paint not fillers. Sure it will help but eventually it will probably crack and start to come off. If it were me I would probably grab a few old PDC sensors and stick them and resend I have the PDC option. No on would probably never notice or say anything. But when that paint plug falls out I'm sure you will get lots of questions. Google pp paint adhesion.

I seem to recall color-coded plugs made specifically to deal with your need. They would eliminate the need to bondo and repaint the entire bumper. I've done a quick google search but haven't located them yet. I'll bet one of the replacement bumper experts knows what I'm talking about.
