Anyone know what this part is called? And any suggestions on where I can get one for the driver and passenger side? It's the plastic piece that the window controls sit in as pointed to with the arrow.

I have bad news for you. On the pre-LCI you cannot buy just the plastic trim piece for the buttons, you have to buy the entire button panel in the trim colour for your car. The passengers side should not be a problem. But there are many part numbers depending on the colours.

Bruce is right - BMW sells the complete panel! But maybe you can do a CF or wood overlay (or whatever matches your other interior trim) ... that might be an alternative.

Or you can put those chrome covers on them, if thats the kind of thing you want.

Wow that sucks!!! Guess I'll be looking around for some wood panel covers. I hope they have those.
