My car is met. sapphire black. Should I color match the grill? Do it any black?, matte black?
What did some of you who have met. black cars paint your grills?

I would paint the surrounds Sapphire Black and leave the centers chrome or matte black. Make sure the grilles are properly prepped (i.e. sandblast the chrome) so the paint can adhere correctly.

On a black car, I prefer the matte look. IMO, the body match blends in too much. We carry full OEM replacement grills in a matte black ABS plastic that is rock chip resistant and won't flake like a painted grill.
