So, yeah, I know this will prolly come off a lil' retarded, but I am concerned about heating up the tips in my kitchen oven - I don't wanna mess it up with the fumes, cuz I do cook in it quite often. Plus, my oven doesn't even heat up to 400 F - only goes up to like 350, I think, so what do you guys think? Should I?

Your home oven only goes up to 350???? Vlad - My toaster oven goes up to 500 buddy. Check your oven settings again.

As to answer you other question, I wouldn't put that in your home oven. Use your neighbors. Tell them it's a potroast.

If you have the engine/header paint, the back should have the oven-bake directions. I can't recall the specific temperature, but I didn't think it was up to 400F (I could be wrong here). Someone else may be able to confirm for you, or I can double-check later tonight. Btw, I used the Rustoleum Engine/Header Paint.

IIRC, the product I used (1000F engine paint--I think it was Duplicolor)) said to bake at 250F for 30 minutes, then let cool for 30 minutes. Bake at 400F for 30 minutes, cool for 30. Then, bake at 600F for 30 minutes, then cool for one hour. Well, I did the 250F and 400F part fine, but all I could find on my oven was a 500F baking setting (my wife wasn't around, so maybe it goes higher? I didn't want to use the "roast" setting), so I baked them for 45 minutes at 500F. I wasn't in a hurry and had places to be, so after I pulled them out, they sat there for a few hours and I popped them on. It's only been a week, but so far, so good.

I turned the oven's exhaust fan on high and had no problems with fumes. I had painted them the day before, so they were very dry and some of the fumes probably had time to dissipate during the curing process.

Yeah no problems here on putting them in the kitchen oven. I cleaned the oven afterwards though, for just to be sure...

Haha, I do have a MILF-like neighbor I've been wanting to ask to use the oven for a while

But you know what, guys, I didn't even heat the tips up and they are totally fine (at least, so far - and it's rained a few times since). I got the paint that can withstand up to 1200 degrees though - the stuff for grills and such. And I did dry to tips in hot Sun and then put them on the car when they dried and ran the engine for about an hour to heat them up some more.
