i just wanted to state how easy it was to paint the calibers, hubs and center caps. i left everything on and jsut taped the wheel well off. it was actually so fun that this was the last mod i will be doing to the E60 and i will be purchasing and building a hot rod in the upcoming months. but for now, here are some shots of the pre and after paint.

I like the calibers, but not the roundelettes black. I would have did the caliber red to match the line on the wheels however

i love color match and the real stealth look. super clean. thats what i go for and even though i do like the red, i prefer to keep everything real "mellow" i guess you can say. as for the roundels... i trully did not like the bmw logo on those... my opinion of course and thats what makes us all unique again, keeping color the same and eliminating so many tones is what im in to. but thanks for the appreciation.

Looks good!
I could be doing this at the summer.
What do you think about other colors than black? I have matte black 19" wheels + shadowline + black grille.

i personally love the blue and black combo. and it would give you something different then red which will help stand you apart. i would have done a brighter blue if my wheels had not had the red stripe on them.... but a bright mid color blue would look awesome in my opinion... for the caliper atleast... i would keep the brake dust sheild black as that is not an attractive peice and it will continue to get brake dust so keep that hidde.
